2 MONTH DOCTOR'S APPOINTMENT

Megan went to the doctor's yesterday. The doctor took one look at her and said BIG BABY!!! She was 12.5 pounds putting her in the 90th percentile in weight. She grew from 21 5/8 to 22 3/4 in length (from 50th to 75th percentile in length). Megan had to get 4 vaccinations. She was brave through the first two, only crying normally. But when they switched legs to do the other two shots you would have thought she was about to sit up and slap the nurse. A BLOOD CURDLING CRY came from her mouth as she looked straight at me. I couldn't take it!!! I had to turn around and brush away the tears. Overall I think Megan did better with it than I did. I have two months to prepare my self for this again...

LET'S FEEL THE BURN!!!!

Megan has decided that laying around is boring and that it is time to hit the gym. Floor time is the way to feel the burn and turn those fat rolls into muscle!!!

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE BUMBO

This is our first fitting of our BUMBO. It is suppose to help with our posture and be able to set her in various places around the house. She likes it and feels like a big girl now! I reconmend it for anyone (with a baby!).

Donnie, Megan, and I went to D'Carlo's to celebrate our first Valentine's together. She was the belle at the ball. Everyone around us had to see her and know all about her. Of course after taking her out of her car seat she did not want to go back in. I was very close in asking the lady that wanted to see her to hold her while I ate dinner. :) But I didn't. I used my crafty new skill of eating and balancing a baby!!! I hope everyone had a wonderful and loving Valentine's Day!!

Updating Pregnancy to Birth

Well, I have decided to keep this going and up date about 8 months worth of "stuff" over the next few days. The pregnancy went wonderfully and I counldn't have asked for anything better. The only problem that occured was some high blood pressure the last month of pregnancy. This caused me to stay in bed for a month. Each week that I visited the doctor didn't seem to give me hope that she was going to come any day soon. The doctor finally scheduled a date to induce.

Donnie and I went to the hospital at 9 pm on Monday, December 18th to begin the process. the next morning they started the pitocin and broke my water. the day went by and nothing was happening. After a non-eventful day the doctor decides to do a C-section since time was running out.

Megan faith was born at 12:40am on Wednesday, December 20, 2006. Her weight at birth was 8 pounds 1 ounce and 19 3/4 in length. We were able to bring her home on that Friday...Just in time for Christmas!!!!!
