OUR LITTLE SANTA BABY!!!
This was the evening that we took Megan to have Santa pictures. She was too cute. She wasn't sure about the mall santa but we got a pretty good pic. If I can get it scanned in I will add it to this post later!!!

BETTER LATE THAN NEVER...CHRISTMAS PICS
Megan had a wonderful second Christmas. She didn't know what to do, but quickly remembered what to do from her birthday. She didn't know what to play with first. After we opened presents we went over to Mamoo's house for a feast! Later that day we graced our presents at Grammy's! Then back over to Mamoo's for leftovers!

MEGAN'S BIRTHDAY PARTY WITH FRIENDS

Megan invited some friends to paint ornaments at Firefly. Anna Carol, Kerri, Will, Ashley, Sydney, and Mamoo were there. We missed Davis, Molly and Carson (he was sick), Sarah and Lyla (having family Christmas) and Erin, who had just given birth to Miss Mary Elizabeth! Megan said that it was a good excuse!!! We all enjoyed diving into painting and fellowship.

MEGAN'S 1ST BIRTHDAY
Megan had a blast on her first birthday. She didn't know what to think. Her Mamoo, Grammy, Aunt Ashley, Uncle Jim, Aunt Melanie, Aunt Marylou, Uncle Tasker, Cousins Will, Clara and Annie were there. We ate some dinner after opening all her wonderful gifts! After our bellies were full Megan dove into her cake (after a little help and encouragement).

Thanks to Kerri and Will for inviting us to a wonderful holiday treat! We all had fun decorating our cookies and eating them too! We will have to make this a tradition!!!!!

HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY WILL
Will had a wonderful birthday party with all that love him around him. We had fun at the Wonder Place playing, painting pictures and eating cake and ice cream. Here were a few pics that I thought were cute!

























Sydney was such a good help with Megan and ran around playing with the birthday boy!!

HALLOWEEN 2007
Megan started her Halloween off by only having a 30 min nap at daycare. She still did well. She is my little Pumpkin and loved seeing all the people. We walked around the neighborhood passing out "pumpkin poop" from the Pumpkin. We decided to show Megan off to the grandmothers, therefore missing all the trick or treaters. Can't wait until next year!!!

MEGAN AT 9 MONTHS

I KEPT SAYING TO MY SELF THAT AI WAS GOING TO "SPELL OUT" EVERYTHING FROM THE CHECK UPS..SO HERE WE GO:

WEIGHT: 21 lbs and 8 ozs (90%) (even though we just went a few days ago b/c you were sick and your weight was 22 lbs 5 ozs) I love my chunky monkey!

LENGTH: 28 inches (75%)

CLOTHES/DIAPERS: She is wearing 12 month clothes (very few 18 months) but mainly 18 month sleepwear. She is wearing size 3 diapers (from Sams which go to 28 pounds-I don't think they will :)) I figure they are the equivalent to size 4.

EATING:We are eating stage 2 foods and solids. You don't like stage 3. You like toast, cheese, cottage cheese, carrots, spiral mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, cheerios, goldfish, and fruits.

SLEEPING:You are in the process of moving your two naps into one. you are now taking a nap in the middle of the day for about 2 hours. Most of the time you crash for about 30 mins-1 hour before or after dinner. Other than that you go down for the night about 8 pm and I have to wake you at around 6:15am. On weekends, you let me sleep as long as I like...you like to play in your crib! Thank You!

DEVELOPMENT: You are on the move crawling everywhere and pulling up on everything. You don't care if it moves or not!!! You are also beginning to stand on your own without holding on to anything. So, I see walking in your very near future! You already have 6 teeth but your seventh has just poked through and the eighth is about to pop through. You have your two top molars that have buds but no sign of them yet! You had your first hair cut over a month ago and need another one. You are always laughing, smiling and interacting with everyone around you!

WHOOOO PIG SOOOIE
Megan was dressed out to cheer on the HOGS. This was a gift from her Granny Mam. Daddy loved it even though he loves to watch the other teams beat the HOGS. We might be looking at a future Razorback Cheerleader!!!

WELCOME DAVIS RYAN ATKINS
My close friend Ashley and Ryan (husband) had their bouncing baby boy, Davis. He was 7 pounds 1 ounce and 20 1/2 inches in length. I heard that Ashley was a trooper through a few kinks in her birthing plan. When I say her today she looked wonderful and had that "mom thing" down pat. Congratulations to mommy and daddy! May your road ahead be the most joy est moments of your life!
Now, Davis....I hope you realize how special your mother is...she is an angel in disguise. Love her with all your heart even though she will love you a little more. Love your father too...he is a neat man (and I mean that in more than one sense!) You are his pride and joy...there is nothing you could do wrong. You have many who love you...God Bless.....

ASHLEY'S SCHOOL BABY SHOWER
On Wednesday, September 5th we had a baby shower for Ashley at school. There was wonderful turn out and A LOT of Diapers. There was sizes from newborn to pull-ups! I hope you had fun, Ashley! We can't wait until Davis is here to use all those diapers!
