I want to make a special shout to Kerri and Shane who kept Megan during our visitation. To make a long story short the daycare kept the "extras" for Kerri. Shane went to get a bottle from Kroger. Well, leaks, milk on the floor and everyone wet...they got things working with a ziplock bag!!! I owe you everything!!!!! Thanks to all for your support, thoughts and prayers during this difficult time!!!

MEGAN'S FIRST TOOTH

Yesterday I noticed that Megan's first tooth had broken the skin!!!!! She has another one that you can see and it is a matter of time that it will break through. We couldn't keep her mouth open long enough to get pictures of the emerging, but I am sure we will be seeing them prominent and proud!!!

Needless to say we have gotten a lot better about eating our solids since the pictures were taken. We have advanced to green beans and will start peas before the week is out!

FINALLY AN EASTER PICTURE

My neighbor ET left this CUTE jacket on my door the weekend of Easter. I think it was the cutest thing possible!!! She loved wearing it because it was so soft. We had a nice brunch that I cooked for the family. It was mom, dad, my sister, Megan and me.

UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Ok....can you tell I have been a little busy? Easter picks and others will be up soon since I need to get them from my mother's camera. Update- Megan has been loving daycare. Leave it to daycare to giver her, her first cold. I tried exposing her to everyone (Kroger, Target, Walmart, Sams as well as many other stores and people) and she gets nothing. Send to daycare and she is sick with a nasty upper respiratory infection. Donnie ended up taking her to the doctor and they gave her some meds. They did weigh her and she was over 15 pounds!!!! (leave it to men to not remember the ounces) We go for our 4 month check up on Monday. Pray for me since Donnie can't be there I will have to endure the pain of watching Megan get 4 shots by myself. I will let you know how it all goes and hopefully I will have the pictures or some pictures!

WELCOME TO THE WORLD CARSON

Congratulations to Molly, Sydney and Cameron for the birth of their baby boy!!! Carson was born at 1:58pm on March 30th at Baptist Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds and 15 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long. Carson was so cute and small!!! Megan got to meet one of her new buddies in crime! We would like to welcome Carson to the world as well as him and Molly to the 'Mommy Group'!!!

Garvan Gardens were beautiful. There were tons of flowers blooming and I am sure they all will be even prettier in a couple of weeks. The pathways were not the most stroller friendly but the kids didn't mind considering they all went to sleep. They have several little gardens, a train garden, and a fabulous new chapel that resembles Thorn Crown Chapel. Mommies decided since we did so much walking that we would end out trip with some El Chico!

2 MONTH DOCTOR'S APPOINTMENT

Megan went to the doctor's yesterday. The doctor took one look at her and said BIG BABY!!! She was 12.5 pounds putting her in the 90th percentile in weight. She grew from 21 5/8 to 22 3/4 in length (from 50th to 75th percentile in length). Megan had to get 4 vaccinations. She was brave through the first two, only crying normally. But when they switched legs to do the other two shots you would have thought she was about to sit up and slap the nurse. A BLOOD CURDLING CRY came from her mouth as she looked straight at me. I couldn't take it!!! I had to turn around and brush away the tears. Overall I think Megan did better with it than I did. I have two months to prepare my self for this again...

LET'S FEEL THE BURN!!!!

Megan has decided that laying around is boring and that it is time to hit the gym. Floor time is the way to feel the burn and turn those fat rolls into muscle!!!

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE BUMBO

This is our first fitting of our BUMBO. It is suppose to help with our posture and be able to set her in various places around the house. She likes it and feels like a big girl now! I reconmend it for anyone (with a baby!).
