AN EXCITING BUT DISAPPOINTING DAY

I will try to make a long story short... Yesterday the President was in town for a round table discussion and a fund raiser for th Arkansas Republican Committee. Knowing this information I invited my niece and nephew over to watch the motorcade to pass by. While we were waiting, a parent came up to us about us being down there and all the cops on every corner (her niece was having a birthday party on the street). Apparently all the parents that were arriving at the party had concerns of what was going on. I told her that the President's motorcade was about to drive by. She left to only return with the party! We all waved at the President's limo and left. Donnie called wanted me to take the camera to him out at the airport so he could take picture of Air Force One. While I was handing him the camera someone called him to tell him that the President was wanting to know who the kids were and wanted to meet them. So as I am speeding home I was making phone calls to get them back out there since the President was going to make an unscheduled stop to see the kids. Again the party was there and my family with the exception of Megan and myself who go stuck it traffic at the bottom of the hill. So here are pics of something I coordinated but wasn't able to get there for. But I am glad that all the kids were there and Mabry Meadors would have a birthday party she will never forget- Priceless! The birthday party had gotten more local and national news than the fund raiser!

TRIP TO THE ZOO
We has a wonderful day at the zoo. The weather was perfect! Kerri, Will, Carter, AC, Mason, Erin, Mary Elizabeth, Megan and myself were present. Here are a few pics of everyone. I realized that the only one I didn't have a picture of was Baby Carter...sorry little man! I'll get you next time!!! (or maybe mommy got a picture of you that I can add!) There is also a few pics of the animals we saw. We had a lot of fun. We missed the absent mommies and babes!

Yogurt Spa Bath
Megan LOVES peach yogurt as you can see. I went outside to check the meat on the grill to only return to see Megan covered in yogurt. Enjoy the pics...

Spring Break-Arizona
This is Cathedral Rock in Sedona where we stayed. It was one of amny facinating red rock formations that we viewed everyday.

MASON SLOANE PARRISH

He was born Thursday, March 6, 2008 at 2:28 am. He weighess 8 pound and 3 ounces. He is 22 inches long. We are so happy to have Mason with us and can't wait to watch him grow! Congratulations to Anna Carol and Jarrod!!!!!

BETTER LATE THAN NEVER...CHRISTMAS PICS
Megan had a wonderful second Christmas. She didn't know what to do, but quickly remembered what to do from her birthday. She didn't know what to play with first. After we opened presents we went over to Mamoo's house for a feast! Later that day we graced our presents at Grammy's! Then back over to Mamoo's for leftovers!

MEGAN'S BIRTHDAY PARTY WITH FRIENDS

Megan invited some friends to paint ornaments at Firefly. Anna Carol, Kerri, Will, Ashley, Sydney, and Mamoo were there. We missed Davis, Molly and Carson (he was sick), Sarah and Lyla (having family Christmas) and Erin, who had just given birth to Miss Mary Elizabeth! Megan said that it was a good excuse!!! We all enjoyed diving into painting and fellowship.

MEGAN'S 1ST BIRTHDAY
Megan had a blast on her first birthday. She didn't know what to think. Her Mamoo, Grammy, Aunt Ashley, Uncle Jim, Aunt Melanie, Aunt Marylou, Uncle Tasker, Cousins Will, Clara and Annie were there. We ate some dinner after opening all her wonderful gifts! After our bellies were full Megan dove into her cake (after a little help and encouragement).
